  1. Dear friend,
I reset the network settings on my Samsung Galaxy S20 plus. Powdered down, restarted and my hotspot came right up. I didn’t need it, was trying to get it to work again. I shut it down. An hour later I tried the hotspot again, it wouldn’t come up? Four months ago I never had a problem with my hotspot. I tried it one day and it would not come up. All my updates are current. I’m totally confused.

  2. You solved my issue! I have to leave the mobile hotspot screen as my active screen otherwise the tethering doesn’t work.

    Thank you soooo much!
Been fighting to figure this out now for a couple of weeks.

  3. Using a USB cable may not work. I connected a USB to tether my galaxya14 and it immediately drained all of my data from my phone plan in half an hour though I had only checked email. I tried again when I had more data and the same thing happened. Samsung tech was no help.
I tried resetting the network and leaving the hotspot screen active. It’s not perfect, but it may be helping a bit.
