How to Clear Continue Watching on Amazon Prime

By performing this quick clean, you can get rid of all your viewing history. This will also hide any and all content that you have been searching for. While Netflix has a dedicated setting to clear it, Amazon Prime Video has two little workarounds to accomplish this task.

1. Clearing the Watch Next List

Amazon Prime Video keeps a tab of what you have been watching and keeps it all on the Watch Next list. Along with your most recently viewed content, it also keeps suggesting you new content based on your preferences. To clear it out follow these following steps.

Step 1: Login to your Amazon Prime Video account. Here you will see the Watch Next list. Tap on the Edit button on the upper-right side of this list.

Step 2: Once you’ve pressed the Edit button, icons to remove the content of that list, denoted by circular cross signs will appear on each and every show or movie. Delete all the content by tapping on these icons.

Step 3: After you’ve finished clearing that list, hit the Done button on the upper-right side of this list.

Sometimes, if you have shows or movies saved on your Watchlist, that also shows up on Watch Next. Below are the steps to remove that as well.

Clearing Your Watchlist

While having a watchlist is good, it will reflect your preference for TV shows and movies. If you want to avoid telling people about it, follow the steps below to clear your Watchlist.

Step 1: Go to the Menu located on the top right-side of the page. Tap on it and from the given options select Your Watchlist.

Step 2: It will now show the list of TV shows and movies that you have added to your Watchlist. To delete them, tap on the remove button located at the bottom of each one of them.

Step 3: Once you’re done, refresh your Amazon Prime Video page and it will not show the Watch Next list anymore.
