Although Disney was late to the streaming party, the company’s streaming service (Disney+) is off to a flying start. While Disney has done a solid job with the native apps, many have raised issues with Disney+ not loading on iPhone and iPad. While there are the best to fix the apps not working on iPhone, but there are ways to fix Disney+ app.
Disney+ is your go-to streaming option to watch all the latest content from Disney (including the titles from Marvel, Pixar, and more). You can switch to another streaming service like Netflix and Prime Video, but there is no true alternative to stream your favorite Disney content on the go. Let’s troubleshoot the issue once and for all.
1. Restart iPhone
It’s the first thing you need to do when an installed app misbehaves starts misbehaving on your iPhone. The trick usually fixes common glitches on your phone.
Step 1: Keep pressing the side and one of the volume buttons simultaneously until the power off slider appears.
Step 2: Use the slider to turn off the phone and wait for few minutes. Keep pressing the power button until the Apple logo appears.
2. Check Network Connection
Disney Plus requires a stable high-speed internet connection to stream your favorite titles without errors. If you have network connection issues on your phone, enable the Airplane from the Control Center and disable it after some time.

3. Log Out From All Devices
You can stream Disney+ content on four devices simultaneously. You can log in on 10 devices at any time. If you have exceeded the limit, log out from other devices.
Unlike Netflix or Prime Video, there is no way to check the number of logged-in devices. You only have the option to log out from all devices with a single click.
Step 1: Visit Disney Plus on the web and sign in with your account details.
Step 2: Click your account picture at the top and open Account.
Step 3: Log out of all devices under the Account Details menu.
Login to the Disney+ app on your iPhone and start streaming content.
4. Check Disney Subscription
If your Disney+ subscription has expired, the app won’t load the content on your account. You can check and update your subscription from Disney Web. Here’s how.
Step 1: Open the Account menu on Disney web (check the steps above).
Step 2: Select your current plan under Subscription to check more details.
If your plan has exceeded the due date, update the payment method to purchase a monthly or yearly plan.
5. Disable VPN
Disney Plus’s availability is limited to several regions only. If you connect to a VPN network on an iPhone or iPad, the app may fail to work as expected. When you connect to another region’s server where Disney+ isn’t available, the app won’t load any content. You need to disable the VPN and try again.
6. Update Disney+
As mentioned above, Disney frequently releases updates to add new features and fix bugs. It’s time to update Disney+ from the App Store and try again.
7. Check Disney Servers
If the Disney+ servers are down, the app won’t work on iPhone, iPad, or any of your devices. You can head to Downdetector and search for Disney+. If the outage spikes are high with user comments complaining the same, wait for Disney to resolve the problems.
8. Reinstall Disney+

Step 1: Long-press on the Disney+ app icon and select Remove App.

Error code 83: The error appears when Disney Plus detects an incompatible device. You can reinstall the app and try again.
